Beauties of Africa Inc Is set to produce the upcoming Miss Safari Pageant scheduled to be held in Kenya.

This magnificent event firmly establishes B.O.A. and Miss Tourism Global Org as the preeminent pageant organiser and producers in Africa and follows our successful implementation and organising of Miss Tourism of the Millennium in Ethiopia.

We see organising the Miss Safari as a chance to be "Proactive" rather than "reactive" to the Kenya Tourism Industries woes. Miss Safari goes beyond promoting Eco-Tourism and is also a land breaking opportunity to address wildlife conservation on a global level with the cooperation and involvement of renowned Wildlife trusts and sanctuaries.

Miss Safari® Pageant is set to be launched in Kenya with over 60 Countries expected to participate in the inaugural event

Over 60 of the Worlds Top beauty Queens are set to visit Kenya. Under our initiative, Miss Safari® Beauty pageant will be organised in Kenya and over 60 International Tourism Ambassadors will be invited to visit Kenya for the express purpose of promoting tourism, especially the Safaris for which Kenya is well known.

Miss Tourism® Pageants are well known brands that specifically showcase the host countries Tourism potential to the World with a view to promoting Tourism.

Miss Safari® will be engaged during her reign in promoting and supporting Wildlife Conservation organisations and Eco-Tourism on a global scale.

The 2009 Miss Tourism® pageants will be focussing on Promoting African Cultural and Tourism sectors.


In an unprecedented move, ambitious plans are underway to host multiple pageants in several African countries on the continent. The decision is part of Miss Tourism Global® Organisations attempts to focus on the beautiful and majestic continent of Africa as an emerging tourist destination, and follows the successful production of Miss Tourism of the Millenium® last november in Ethiopia and the interest generated from that event.



Previously labelled the “Dark Continent” Africa is now the fastest growing tourism destination on the planet, and opportunities abound for national governments to promote their National Tourism attractions by hosting a Miss Tourism® pageant.

MISS & MR AFRICA GREECE® 2007 CROWNED

Miss & Mr Africa Greece 2007 were crowned in Athens Greece on the 9th of December in a Co-ed pageant that featured African delegates residing in Greece

MISS TOURISM OF THE MILLENNUM® CROWNED

Jennifer Schell from Venezuela was crowned the 1st ever Miss Tourism of the Millennium® in Addis Ababa Ethiopia on the 3rd November 2007, in a contest that was attended by 37 beauties from around the world. It was the first time an international beauty contest was held in Ethiopia, and was specially organised to celebrate Ethiopia's Millennium

Miss Costa Rica: Sylvania Sanchez was 1st runner up,

Kattisia Kouta from Rep of Congo was 2nd runner up,

Miss South Africa: Palesa Makwa

The 2008 edition of the pageant is expecting to invite over 60 delegates, and will be held once again in Ethiopia in October 2008

CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF CHARLIE SEE

Los Angeles, USA - On Friday, November 2, one of the most respected names in international pageantry, the great Charlie See, passed away in California, where he lived with his wife. Charlie created over 100 international beauty contests, including Miss Tourism Queen International and Miss Globe International. Miss Globe, Model of models, Festival of Beauty and many more In the 1950’s and 1960’s he worked closely with the Miss Universe Organization.

Born in Penang, Malaysia, Charlie moved to the United States when he was still young.
At the age of 100, he attended Miss Tourism Queen International last July in China, and with sense of humor and much energy, he shared some great pageant stories with the press.
He was a man who not only dared to dream, but someone who worked fiercely to see his dreams become a reality. Consequently, he made the dreams of thousands of beautiful young ladies around the world a reality as well.

Charlie lived a long life and left his mark on this planet. May he rest in peace, and shall his legacy be carried on forever by those he trusted and loved.

ETHIOPIA SET TO HOSTS MISS TOURISM OF THE MILLENNIUM®

Ethiopia will have the honour of hosting its first International beauty pageant Miss Tourism Of The Millennium®, pursuant to an exclusive franchise agreement with the Ethiopian Life Foundation, a UK based Organization that has been at the fore front of pageant production in Ethiopia.

An estimated 50 countries are expected to participate, the event is excepted to last 2 weeks and will feature International celebrity Guests as well.

During their stay in Ethiopia the participants will participate in several cultural and tourist activities designed to showcase Ethiopian culture and significantly the Ethiopian Millennium.

All arrangements have been concluded and the delegates are expected to begin to arrive in Ethiopia on the 15th of October and will depart on the 4th of November 2007

The Miss Tourism contest was founded by Mr. Charlie See. More than 80 countries have held it to select their tourist ambassadors respectively since 1949. The first final competition of Miss Tourism Queen International started in 1993, based on the Miss Tourism Queen International contest of different countries. More than 60 countries acknowledge this international contest to be the final competition for the Miss Tourism from all over the world, as well as the world earliest and most authorized international Miss Tourism competition. It is also one of the biggest beauty contest in which every country has the very right to select its own candidate.
